I was reading the newspaper kanina and these words caught my attention:
SCHADENFREUDE- the harm suffered by others bringing joy to you
The term derives from Schaden (damage, harm) and Freude (joy);
CATHARSIS- sensation of being cleansed or purged of your foulest and darkest feelings after you've just seen something awful happen to somebody else
